A New Life with Jesus

Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with the Creator God of the universe. All the other religions of the world have one thing in common that is they all say you have to do something or become something to find God, that is you have to work your way to God, and some say you have to work your way to become a god, you have to be good enough, or you have to suffer enough, or you have to meditate enough, or you have to say chants enough, or what ever. It was the religious people who crucified Jesus. Only the God of the Holy Bible says no matter how bad you are, come to Me now, as in (Isaiah 1:18) Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Only Jesus Christ offers grace, grace is undeserved favor, a free gift. The Holy Bible says in (Ephesians 2:8) For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. All you have to do is believe, and accept Jesus Christ into your heart and that begins your new life in Christ, (2 Corinthians 5:17-18) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation. Pray the prayer below and begin a new life in Christ, here are some other scriptures that relate to you.
(Romans 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(Hebrews 11:6) But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Psalms 145:18-19) The LORD is near to all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth. {19} He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

IT IS FINISHED (John 19:30)

From the Cross itself the Lord Jesus shouts his victory. Of course to every other eye a dying man on a cross looked like and was defeat. But God's ways are not our ways and here on the Cross God had not only the world but also the devil fooled!

We need to be clear that the victory of Jesus Christ was won on the Cross itself. What had been the instrument of his execution he made the symbol of his triumphant reign. On the Cross of Calvary, before sundown on Good Friday and before the actual dying of Jesus, the victory was complete. He had done all that the Father required for the reconciliation of the world to himself, for the redemption and salvation of mankind, for the forgiveness and remission of sins, for abundant life in the kingdom of heaven of the age to come and for communion and friendship with the Father through the Son and by the Holy Ghost.

Therefore Easter is the glorious sign and announcement that the victory has been won. And the church preaches the message of the Risen Lord Jesus who is also "Christ crucified."

Luke 12:22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.
23 Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.
24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!
25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? {Or single cubit to his height}
26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

27 "Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labour or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these.
28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!
29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.
29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.
30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. (NIV) (See also Matthew 6:25)

Prayer begins by realizing that you are simply talking to God. It doesn’t matter if you’re sitting, standing, walking, or kneeling. You can bow your head, look up, open or close your eyes. Remember, it is God you are praying to, and no one else.
But, if you get stuck, we would like to offer a bit of advice: just PRAY. It won’t take more than a minute.

P = Praise God. (Ten seconds.)

You can create your own praise to God from your heart, or memorize one or two scripture verses and recite them to God with your personal emotion.

Psalm 150:6 -  “Let everyone that has breath praise the Lord.”

Psalm 9:1 - "I will praise you, O Lord, with my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O most High.”

R = Repent for things you have done wrong in thought or actions. (Ten seconds)

This is an opportunity to reflect on your own attitudes or actions that need God’s forgiveness. We all make mistakes and God wants to forgive you, but first you need to apologize.

John 1:9 “ - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all righteousness.”

Jeremiah 15:19 - “If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me...”

A = Ask God for help for others and yourself. (Thirty seconds)

God loves you and wants you and those you care about to be happy, but He would like you to ask for His help. Be specific about what you need God to do in your school, family, community, or world.

Matthew 7:7 -  “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

1 John 5:14-15 - “This is the confidence we have in approaching God; that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”

Y = Yield yourself to God’s will and God’s way. (Ten seconds)

To yield means that you give up, ; surrender or submit your life to GOD

He is the First and Last, the Beginning and the End!
He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and the Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is, and He always will be...
Unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!
He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can't understand him,
The armies can't defeat Him,
The schools can't explain Him, and The leaders can't ignore Him.
Herod couldn't kill Him, The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him, and
The people couldn't hold Him!
Nero couldn't crush Him, Hitler couldn't silence Him,
The New Age can't replace Him, and Donahue can't explain Him away!
He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.
His ways are right,
His word is eternal, His will is unchanging, and
His mind is on me.
He is my Redeemer,
He is my Savior,
He is my guide, and
He is my peace!
He is my Joy,
He is my comfort,
He is my Lord, and He rules my life!
I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.
I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise, the power of the powerful, the ancient of days, the ruler of rulers, the leader of leaders, the overseer of  the over comers, and the sovereign Lord of all that was and is and is to come
